NoteSono Pro

CPD tracking that knows what your professional body actually asks for

Most CPD trackers count hours. UK professional bodies don't just want hours — they want to see that you identified a learning need, acted on it, and can say what changed in your practice as a result. NoteSono is built around that, and around the fact that BACP, UKCP, BABCP and NCPS all ask for something slightly different.

    The mistake most trackers make

They add your supervision hours to your CPD total. For a BACP member that's simply wrong — BACP state that supervision is a separate Register requirement and should not be submitted as CPD. A therapist having 1.5 hours of supervision monthly accumulates around 18 hours a year. Counted towards a 30-hour target, that leaves you believing you need 12 more hours when you actually need all 30.

NoteSono keeps them apart or together depending on your body's actual rules, so the number you're looking at is the number that counts. More on whether supervision counts towards CPD.

    What's included

Your body's real requirements, not a generic target

BACP normally expect 30 hours a year. UKCP want 250 across five years with at least 20 in any one. NCPS expect 30. NoteSono detects your body from your profile and tracks against the right figure, with your own override if your college asks for more.

    Structured around what auditors read

Entries follow the structure BACP's own template uses — the learning need, how you planned to meet it, what you did, and the impact on your practice. That last field is the one auditors focus on and the most common reason records fall short.

Reflections in your own words, never generated

NoteSono uses AI extensively for clinical notes, but deliberately not here. Professional bodies expect your genuine reflection, and an AI-written one risks failing review as well as missing the point. You get prompting questions, never a drafted answer.

    Certificates kept with the record

Attach the certificate or booking confirmation to the entry itself, so your evidence and your log never drift apart. Stored privately, never publicly accessible.

    Supervision pulled from your calendar

If you block out supervision in NoteSono's calendar, you can import those sessions straight into your CPD record rather than logging everything twice. A standalone CPD app can't do that, because it can't see your diary.

Audit export for any year, not just this one

BACP audits are triggered at renewal and usually cover the year that has just ended. NoteSono lets you export a previous CPD year, which is exactly the moment you need it.

It sits alongside your notes, not in another app

CPD tracking is part of NoteSono Pro, which also gives you AI-generated clinical notes in 20 formats, a practice calendar, and invoicing with online card payments for your invoices. One subscription, one login, and your supervision sessions already in the diary you're using.
